FAQs
-
My style is true to life. My goal is to depict you, your family, or your business as they truly are, without overblown embellishments or awkward staged poses. Authenticity is important to me, as I believe imperfections add character to people and their stories.

Having more time to plan our session together leads to a more enjoyable experience. Advanced notice, at least a week, is preferred so we have enough time to plan. I can accommodate short-notice sessions, within a day or two, if my schedule allows.

This can vary depending on your session type. For an event where lots of photos are taken, extra time is needed to sort and edit the images. For a portrait session, fewer images can mean a quicker turnaround time. Depending on the service selected, a preview of your session is available within 48 hours, and most sessions are delivered within two weeks.
Any delays will be communicated promptly.

Once you receive your files and/or physical prints, they become your property. You hired me to provide a service, and the photos are the result of that service. All terms will be clearly stated in our contract and agreed to before the session.
As the photographer, I will maintain the copyright for each image. However, these images will solely be used for promotional purposes and will not be sold or passed on to others unless agreed upon by all parties involved.
Any specific usage, like portraits or brand images for your business, will be discussed in advance and documented in the contract.

I understand that things come up, life is unpredictable, even with the best-laid plans. I am flexible and will work with you to reschedule any session affected by weather, health issues, emergencies, or other unforeseen events.
In the rare event that a situation significantly delays rescheduling or makes it impossible, half of the deposit will be refunded.

Once our session wraps, I will review and choose the images that I believe best capture the event or people involved. These selected images will be edited before being delivered to you.
Additionally, you will receive lower-resolution, unedited, and watermarked images from the entire event. These images can be edited and upgraded to high resolution for an additional fee.
-
I decide how the images will be edited after uploading, reviewing, and selecting the standout photos. I look at the atmosphere of the session, the people involved, and the general mood during the shoot.
If you have specific preferences like black and white, bright, or vibrant colors for your photos, we can talk about it in advance, and your choices can be incorporated during editing.

A good first step is to familiarize myself with those attending the event as well as the location. That's why meeting before the session is so crucial. I do like to make people aware that I'm around taking photos, so they're not surprised and don't feel the need to ham it up for the camera. Additionally, I use equipment that lets me keep my distance and capture genuine moments.

I have you in mind when it comes to my services and I aim to ensure that professional photography remains accessible to everyone to capture their special moments.
Sure, everyone has a cell phone that can snap some pictures, but that means you or a loved one have to take that shot, instead of being in it. I want you to be in your photos. I want you to enjoy your event. I want to help you get yourself or your business noticed and reach your goals.
I've had plenty of jobs where the line was "put the customer first" but that always lacked sincerity with how the company acted. I put you and your needs first because that's my true ambition. I want to make you smile when you see your photos. Making a living doing that is a pleasant bonus.
